CSIR UGC NET 2020 Exam

NTA will conduct the CSIR UGC NET 2020 Exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship. The exam will be conducted on 21 June 2020 in online mode. The CSIR NET exam will also be conducted for Life Science, Earth Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, and Physical Science Papers.

CSIR UGC NET 2020 Eligibility

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying the form of CSIR UGC NET 2020. The eligibility is very important for the candidates. The details of Eligibility is given below:-

Education Qualification

  • The candidates must have an M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS- 4 Years/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS.
  • General, OBC-NCL, EwS candidates – Minimum 55% Marks.
  • SC/ ST, Physically and visually handicapped candidates – Minimum 50% Marks.
  • Candidates who completed the M.Sc and 10+2+3 years of the above qualification holder will also be eligible for the CSIR UGC NET Examination 2020.
  • The candidates who have B.Sc and an equivalent degree in the Integrated MS-PhD.
  • The candidate who has a bachelor’s degree/ Enrolled for Ph.D./ Integrated Ph.D. to be eligible for CSIR.
  • Ph.D. degree holder candidates, who passed the masters degree before 19 September 1991 with 55% marks are also eligible for the exam.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Research Fellowship:- The candidates whose ages are above 28 years as on 1 July 2020, those candidates are not attending the exam of CSIR UGC NET 2020.

Lectureship:- No age limit for this post of Assistant Lectureship.

Apply for CSIR UGC NET 2020 Details

The steps by step instruction to apply the CSIR UGC NET 2020 Application form online are given below, candidates must check the details before applying the application form of CSIR UGC NET 2020:-

  • Visit the official website of CSIR i.e, csirnet.nta.nic.in to apply the application form.
  • Click on “Apply Online” at the bottom of the display page.
  • Then, the application form will appear on the screen.
  • Then, Enter all the required details which are necessary to fill the Application form. 
  • Upload the colored passport size photo and scanned signature of the candidates.
  • Then, check the application form before submitting, because no changes are allowed after the final submission of the CSIR UGC NET Exam.
  • After that, the system generated Registration number after submitting the form. Note the registration number because the registration number is very important for the candidates.
  • Then, make the online payment method of the Application form by various methods like Debit Card, Credit Cards, BHIM UPI, Paytm, PhonePay and other online payment applications.
  • After that, take a print of the CSIR UGC NET Application form for future references.

The Admit Card of CSIR UGC NET will be issued on 15 May 2020. Candidates can download their admit card on the official website of CSIR. The details of downloading the Admit card are given below in step by step:-

  • Then, click the link of “Download the Admit Card”.
  • Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • After that, click on the “Submit” to log into the system.
  • Then, the Admit card download and display on your system.
