Types of UP Scholarship

Government of Uttar Pradesh provides two types of Scholarship Pre-matric Scholarship Scheme and Post-matric Scholarship Scheme.

Pre-matric Scholarship Scheme: Students who are studying in class 9th and 10th and belongs to SC/ST, OBC, Minorities and General Category can apply for Pre-matric Scholarship Scheme.

Post-matric Scholarship Scheme: Post-matric Scholarship Scheme is only for those students who are studying in class 9th and 10th and also enrolled in Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Diploma Certificate Courses.  Students who belong to SC/ST, OBC, Minorities and General Category can apply for Post-matric Scholarship Scheme.

UP Scholarship Eligibility

Types Of Bank Account Eligible For UP Scholarships

Up Scholarship Amount of Particular General degree Course is almost equal to the tuition fees which is Rs. 30,000 per annum.

UP Scholarship for Engineering Students

For Engineering Students, Up Scholarship is depended upon the tuition fees. UP Scholarship amount is approximately equal to the engineering degree course which is Rs.1.25 lakh per annum. UP Scholarship Amount may vary because it depends upon the college’s tuition fees.

Up scholarships are also provided to medical students. Students who are pursuing medical degrees from UP can apply for the UP scholarships and gain their tuition fees from the UP Government. UP Scholarship Amount for Medical studies also depends upon the tuition fees per annum which are Rs.3.0 lakh per annum.

• Click on Student in the Menu and then click on New Registration.
• Now, Select the Scholarship in which category and for which type of Scholarship you want to apply.
• After choosing category, UP Scholarship Registration Form has been opened.
• Now, Fill all the exact details which you have filled last year.
• And click on Submit.
• After clicking on Submit button a message will show at the top of the form You are due for renewal category. Your old Registration number is 3234xxxxxxxxx.

Now you will get your old registration number. Note this registration number to use for the renewal of UP Scholarship Scheme.

Why UP Scholarship Site is Not Working or UP Scholarship Form Error Occurred?

If you cannot fill UP Government Scholarship Form and you will get a message on display screen We Are Sorry! Some error Occurred then it might be happened due to server error.

When you fill Application Form, Sometimes it has been done and sometimes it has been showed We are Sorry Message then it doesn’t mean that website is not working or Form cannot be filled. It means that your Application form can be filled but on the server, there is too much traffic comes that’s why you cannot be filled form.

When so many students fill application form at the same time server becomes very heavy and do not take load of that much traffic that’s why We Are Sorry! Some error Occurred message occurred on the Screen.

Candidate has to try to fill the UP Government Scholarship Application form before 11 am and after 6 pm if they got we are sorry error on the screen. Because at that time server load or traffic is very low.
