Library

• Library area is spread around 4122 sq.m in the campus.
• The library has a huge collection of books approx 1,47,065, SC/ST Book Bank Books 12,953 journals around  31,000, periodicals approx 112 and 42 magazines and newspapers. Library also provides the collection of ebooks approx 5000 and E-journals around 20,000.

Health Centre

• Anna University also has the provision of Health Centre facility at the Main Campus and at MIT campus through which students and employees can get a free consultation.
• At the Health Centre, students get traetmnet both in the morning and evening. A male Medical Officer and a female Medical Officer are available at the health centre.
• There is also paramedical staff present at the health centre which includes one Pharmacist, one Staff Nurse and a Male Nursing Assistant.
• Health Centre also accepts emergency cases and a part-time Medical Officer deputed from the Government Hospital attended patients in the morning only for 2 hours and also a part-time lady Medical Officer is available in the evening.

Anna University Hostels have basic facilities like a common room, water purifiers, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security, and surveillance system, etc. There is also has an exclusive hostel for those students who come under the CIWGC / NRI / FN categories. How TANCET 2019 Result Marks Normalized?

Counselling team members use the marks normalization process to create an even or equal level and a fair anna university counselling rank list for all candidates. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the valid score of TANCET followed by university-based counselling (TANCA). Students who have obtained a valid score in GATE can also apply in these courses and these candidates are exempted from TANCET exam.

Anna University provides various courses such as M.Arch, M.Plan, MBA, and MCA with regular and lateral entry. Candidates should have a bachelors degree with an aggregate 50% marks(45% marks for SC/ST) to get admission in these courses.
