University of Rajasthan is state and public university which is located in the city of Jaipur. Rajasthan University is one of the oldest universities which was established on January 08, 1947.
The University was known as the University of Rajputana and in the year 1956, it is changed into University of Rajasthan. It is approved by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC).

University of Rajasthan Doctorate Courses Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks aggregate in relevant field are eligible to get admission in three-year full-time M.Phil. program. And those candidates who have a Master’s degree or M.Phil. degree with minimum 55% marks in relevant field can get admission in a three-year full-time Ph.D. research course.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of these below-given criteria.
- UNIRAJ MPAT Entrance Exam followed by Personal Interview conducted by Rajasthan University.
- UGC (NET)/ CSIR (JRF) Examination (for Ph.D.).
- SLET/ GATE/ Teacher Fellowship holders (for Ph.D.).
- Direct award of Fellowship by DST (INSPIRE), ICMR or any such national agency (Ph.D.).
