Gujarat University offers scholarships to those students who belong to the financially poor background and belong to reserved categories. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category are eligible to get the scholarship from Gujarat University. Candidates who belong to Muslims minority categories and tribute students can apply for scholarships in this university and they easily get the scholarship every year.

Gujarat University sends some students to France who scored above 75% overall in academics of their pursuing course. Various different NGOs also work with Gujarat University and offer jobs to the best students. Students can also avail research fellowship during their study period.
