Gujarat University Campus

Gujarat University campus is situated in Ahmedabad Gujarat state. Land of the campus infrastructure spread around 260 acres.
Gujarat University provides lots of campus infrastructure facilities like interactive classrooms, medical center along with dental health provisions, science lab, placement cell, workshops and a well-stocked library.
Other facilities such as canteen, sports arena and seminar hall are also available for students.

Hostel facility

Hostel facility is available in Gujarat University on sharing basis with twins. Every room has a bed, cupboard, and table. Hygienic mess facility also available which provide home-like feeling to the students. Every hostel has a playground and has a green environment around the hostel.

Student Activity

Gujarat University also organised various extra-curricular activities on their campus such as cultural meets, sports meet, NSS, debate competitions etc. Gujarat University also started the state radio facility called GURU. This University also has different clubs like student welfare club, art club, law club and philosophy club.

Facilities in Gujarat University

Library

Gujarat University has the facility of the library which has around 3.35 lakh books.
It also has 11,600 E-Books and 7,500 E-Journals and every year 5000 books added in the library which becomes a temple of education.
Gujarat University library has the subscription for more than 300 periodicals in different subjects.
Gujarat University also has a small library to every schools and department which has texts and reference books related to a particular course and programmes offered by the department and school.
Books will be issued by the central library.

Hostel

Gujarat University has the provision of hostel for both boys and girls. All of the hostels have basic amenities and facilities such as water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system etc.
Gujarat University Hostel provides separate accommodations for both boys and girls.
Boys hostel has approx 256 rooms and girls hostel has around 126 rooms.
High-speed internet and 24X7 electricity are available in both of the hostels
Hostel rooms contain all the luxurious amenities which is needed for the students.
Hostels also have surveillance of 24X7 with security cameras.

Sports Complex

Gujarat University also has the sports complex facility in the campus.
It has the provision to play every kind of sports in sports complex like Tennis, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Gymnastics etc
It has also different types of courts and tracks for sports like:

- Hockey Ground
- Volleyball Court
- 400 Mtr. Track

Reading centre:

Gujarat University also has a reading centre for all of the students to read journals and books.
This Reading centre space is connected with the central library of Gujarat University
Approx 400 students can get stable in the reading centre at a time.
University has two reading centre named as Shri Vimalbhai Shah Reading Center, Saraspur, and KhokharaMehmedabad Reading Center

Health centre:

Gujarat University has established a health centre in 1962 which is a well-equipped health centre.
The health centre is located inside the campus of Gujarat University and provides the necessary treatment and medication to all the students.
Doctors and the medical team of the Health centre are well-trained professionals.

Internet access centre

Gujarat University also has an Internet access centre that provides high-speed broadband connection to all the students.
This facility is available for all the staffs and the researchers.
